ABOUT ME

Creating music since 2005

I'm Artur Matveenko, a composer, sound designer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist with a lifelong connection to music.

Growing up, I developed twin passions for music and video games. The soundtracks of Warcraft, HoMM, Neverwinter Nights, and many other games captivated me and planted the seed of creating game music. While Belarus, my home country, had limited game development opportunities at that time, this led me to explore my own creative direction.

This exploration resulted in "Dzivia," a project where I blend symphonic compositions with ethnic influences and occasional heavy metal elements. I've been fortunate to see Dzivia connect with listeners over the years, gaining a dedicated following and resonating with audiences around the world. Many tracks from Dzivia have been licensed for use in numerous game and film trailers.

Throughout my 15+ years in game development, I've had the opportunity to work in various roles—composer, sound designer, audio editor, audio lead, and narrative game designer—which has given me a deep understanding of how games work from the inside out.

Currently, I work as an independent creator, which gives me the freedom to focus on projects that align with my creative vision. However, I'm always open to collaborating on new projects and creating something beautiful together.
